A note from Mr. Walton

Greetings,

I miss you guys already. This is certainly a strange and interesting time isn’t it? Don’t worry kids, the Walton family decided against going on that Disney cruise. I’m sure you have tons of questions about what the rest of the school year is going to look like (Spring Trip, Solo and Ensemble, Concerts etc.) and frankly so do I. We’re working on options and contingency plans and when I know more, I promise you’ll be in the loop via email, Remind, and of course… lamarorchestra, dot com.

In the meantime, I encourage you to take this opportunity over the next 2 weeks to get some rest, be safe, be SMART, and do something productive with your time. Get some exercise, read a book that you want to read, practice your instrument (hope you brought it home…), learn a new hobby, basically anything to better yourself. You won’t regret it.
