Spring Concert 2022 Call Times

CONCERT ORCHESTRA

6:15 - arrive at the C.V.P.A. dressed in your uniform, go to multipurpose room -TUNE

6:30- Rehearse in multipurpose room

7:00 - concert starts

After you perform exit the stage on the cello/bass side of the orchestra and sit in the reserved seats for your group to watch the other groups perform. Remember that part of your grade depends on your concert etiquette.

SINFONIA ORCHESTRA

5:45 – arrive at the CVPA dressed in your uniform, go to multipurpose room - TUNE

5:50 - warm up in the multipurpose room

6:30 – Break – Sit in the auditorium, help set up reception, or something productive

6:50 - go to the auditorium and sit in the reserved seats for your group, cellos/basses line your instruments along the wall back stage, violins/violas keep them in your laps

7:00 - watch Concert Orchestra perform

approx 7:20 – enter stage on the violin side of the stage and perform

After you perform exit on the cello/bass side of the orchestra and sit in the reserved seats for your group to watch the other groups perform. Remember that part of your grade depends on your concert etiquette.

PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA

5:00 – arrive at the CVPA, go to stage

4:45 – rehearse with soloist on stage

5:15 – BREAK – you may leave campus, but you have to be back by 6:45 dressed in your uniform

6:50 - go to the auditorium and sit in the reserved seats for your group, violins/violas keep them in your laps

7:00 - watch Concert and Sinfonia Orchestras perform

approx 7:40 – enter stage on the violin side of the stage and perform

Approx. 8:30 – Senior Recognition – Other students prepare for Alma Matter

SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

4:30 - arrive at the CVPA dressed in your uniform, uncase & tune well in multipurpose room

5:00 – Rehearse & Record

7:00 - watch Concert, Sinfonia and Philharmonic Orchestras perform
