Winter Concert Live-Stream Friday, December 18th @ 7:00

Greetings LHS Orchestra Family,

Mr. Hogan and I would first like to express our deepest and most heartfelt thanks for your patience and understanding as we’ve navigated this strange semester in orchestra. Secondly, we would like to cordially invite you to watch our live-streamed “Winter Concert” event on the evening of next Friday, December 18th at 7 PM.

All semester your students have been submitting video recordings of them performing their individual parts to their orchestra’s pieces. Mr. Hogan and I then compile all the individual videos to create “virtual orchestras” performing the music together. We will be premiering these videos from all four LHS orchestras next Friday evening on our Lamar High School Orchestra YouTube channel at 7 PM.

Later on next week you will receive a link to access the Winter Concert video stream. For copyright and privacy reasons the video will be unlisted and not available to the public but please feel free to share the link with your friends and family. Additionally, in accordance with AISD policy once the Winter Concert video has premiered, it will be taken down.

Although it’s certainly not the same as attending a live concert in person, we sincerely hope you will tune in next Friday to see your students continuing to make music. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
